I've kept a diary consistently for 16 years. The first note was on May 2, 2012.

Though I used writing to capture thoughts, my diary notes are raw and unstructured. The next step is to synthesize knowledge: review unstructured thoughts and distill them into insights. This blog is a work-in-progress and contains my distilled notes.

From Raw Thoughts to Distilled Insights

1/ Share my insights

I mean both "WHAT" and "HOW." "WHAT" refers to specific shareable pieces. i.e., how we use AI agents in data scraping ETLs (specific, actionable, and useful content). "HOW" refers to meta concepts, thoughts, mental patterns, personal operating system. "HOW" is everything that helps to achieve "WHAT."

2/ Outreach

I usually share my thoughts in small group conversations, one-on-one, and with 4–5 people. I want to change that, and this blog is my attempt at doing it. It's a way to reach more people.

3/ Practice

Writing is a skill, and creating content is great practice. I want to keep developing my writing "muscle." It's a way to practice self-expression, critical reasoning, and conciseness. In the age of LLMs, strong writing skills are increasingly important. Research confirms that developing critical reasoning skills improves outcomes when using LLMs.
